AJ is passionate about helping clients achieve a deep state of relaxation using a Swedish massage technique to calm the nervous system. Massage pressure is elected by the client via thorough consultation.

AJ’s most recent professional development study was an Advanced Certificate in Traditional and Modern Cupping Therapy (Bruce Bentley - Health Traditions) which has become an integral part of her practice. With a strong focus on working with superficial and deep layers of fascia; cupping therapy has helped to achieve longer lasting results with clients.

Massage and Cupping therapies may help clients to improve their mobility, flexibility/range of motion, stimulate blood flow and soften tense and stressed muscles, which may also help prevent injury.

AJ started her own massage therapy business in 2013, originally operating out of Ulladulla under the name Alyssa Jane Massage & Fitness. AJ then moved to Broulee in 2019, where she opened Broulee Massage.

AJ’s absolute favourite treatment to perform is the Prenatal Massage; “I just love working ‘with woman’; being invited to play a small part in the journey of the Prenatal Mother is something very special. Massaging Mum and Bub is a sacred space and in my opinion, a necessary therapy for deep connection and preparation for labour.”
